This Privacy Policy explains how Trimaco Surgical Division Ltd. (company no. 513782896), which operates under the name “Trimaco Medical & Surgical” (“Trimaco”, “we”, “us”), collects and uses personal information in connection with the website trimacosurgical.com (the “Site”). We handle personal information in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations made under it, and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering inquiries, running our business and operating a secure website, and, where relevant, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

You are under no legal obligation to give us personal information; doing so is your choice. If you choose not to, we may be unable to answer your inquiry or provide the information or service you asked for.

4. The Clinic and AI Design portals

The “Clinic” and “AI Design” pages of the Site display an online portal for registered dental professionals, provided by our aligner-design technology partner, Lingoral. The portal runs on the provider’s systems, not on ours: sign-in details and any information entered or uploaded in the portal are sent directly to the provider, stored on its servers outside Israel (in the Asia-Pacific region), and used to provide the portal’s services.

The portal may ask your browser for permission to use your camera or microphone. It can use them only if you approve that request in your browser.

If you upload patient information to the portal, please upload only what is needed for the case, and only where you are permitted to do so under the law that applies to you, including any patient consent that is required.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with others for their own marketing. We share it only with:

6. Transfer of information outside Israel

Some of the providers mentioned in this policy store or process information outside Israel, including our hosting and email providers, WhatsApp, and the portal provider (Asia-Pacific region). We transfer personal information outside Israel only in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001, and, where the GDPR applies, with appropriate safeguards.

7. How long we keep information

We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to handle them and to manage our business relationship, and afterwards only for as long as the law requires or as needed to deal with legal claims. Server records are kept by our hosting provider for a short period, for security and technical purposes.

8. Information security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect personal information, and the Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send us identifiable patient information or other sensitive medical information by email or WhatsApp unless it is necessary.

9. Your rights

Under Israeli law you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date (sections 13 and 14 of the Privacy Protection Law).

If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to ask us to erase or restrict the use of your information, to object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. Children

The Site is intended for healthcare professionals and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with its last-updated date, and we will point out significant changes on the Site.
